“Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world.“

OUR VISION
Empowering Underserved Communities Globally Through Sustainable Science Education
At Science Nexus we are advocates of an accessible and sustainable approach to science education, using low cost and locally available materials to assist curriculum with practical knowledge.
Science education is crucial because it helps individuals comprehend the world around them, engage critically with information, and contribute to solving complex challenges.
It is important to expose young minds to experiential learning methods and develop their interest in science early on, as this can profoundly shape their future engagements and strengthen the development of their community.
OUR VALUES
Experiential Education
Science Nexus is an effort dedicated to promoting science education around the world. We focus on the intersection, or nexus, of low-cost STEM resources, hands-on experiential learning, and effective communication to ensure that science education is fun and accessible for ALL. We believe that such methods have the power to enable positive student attitudes and promote stronger community outcomes.
Global Networking
At Science Nexus, we are creating a network by not only providing educational resources in several different countries, but also through the pursuit of global collaborations with other leaders and international nonprofit organizations that share our goals of youth advocacy and science education. Through these partnerships, we are able to amplify and expand our reach, create bridges between groups, and strengthen the STEM pipeline. This is key to the realization of our vision.
Service With Compassion
The core of our vision is not only to spark an interest in science around the world, but most importantly, to make science education more inclusive and accessible for a better world. As a result, we ensure that our approach extends beyond the limits of the traditional classroom, reaching students who otherwise fall through the gaps of institutional education, losing access to critical support and necessary resources. In addition, we hold empathy as the central value of all of our service, ensuring that our volunteers are educated in nuanced social dynamics and conduct themselves with compassion.
